Kong Ring
LODGE DESCRIPTION
Kong Ring was a Viking chieftain, whose luxurious feasting, friendship and generosity won him a place in Norwegian folklore. He founded his fiefdom here in Fiskå, where the rich fishing grounds are sheltered from the ferocious north wind. When he was slain in battle, Kong Ring was buried on a nearby hilltop which now bears his name. This lodge is also named in his honor, and decorated in a Viking style with a circular chandelier over the rustic dining table. There’s a lacquered mead horn and a bronze Thor statuette, as well as a traditional Norse open-fire grill on the terrace; the perfect setting for some old-world Viking feasting of your own.
