I stayed in TunheimsFjørå Lodge for four nights and had the most amazing experience. The lodge I stayed in was stunningly decorated with an Argentinian flare. From robes and slippers, to a hot tub and sauna, to an espresso machine, the place is fully equipped with everything you would want and need to make your stay comfortable. One entire wall of the lodge is glass which allows for you to take in the breath-taking views of the fjords. There is a beautiful hike on the mountain behind, with an undercover viewing area with a table to enjoy a meal while taking in the view. All in all, my trip was amazing and I will definitely be back!

Everything about TunheimsFjørå Lodge was absolutely exceptional. The moment that you arrive you feel warmly welcomed and relaxed. Truly this is a very luxurious “home away from home” in Norway. Located on a private road that leads you to the most picturesque Norwegian shoreside, this property is surrounded by stunning fjords and gorgeous waterfalls. It is the most peaceful place imaginable.
The owners and the staff have thought of every little detail to make guests feel beyond comfortable. There are 3 private homes (all 3BR/3.5BA) located next to each other with a very unique over-the-water view. Each house is newly built and decorated with extremely high-end style. We stayed in “The Fisherman” house which has floor-to-ceiling panoramic windows, a private boat lift, paddle boards, kayaks, and a large deck w/hot tub. We learned about additional services to request for our next stay - such as a private chef or boat captain. This is THE perfect place to relax and do as much (or as little) as you would like.
A very exclusive Norwegian experience like nothing else we have seen. We are very much looking forward to our return to TunheimsFjørå Lodge!

I just got home from my third stay at TunheimsFjørå Lodge, and the only thought in my head is that I want to go back! Thank you so much for an unforgettable experience! Objectively speaking, I think I can say that this is one of the greatest accommodations we have here on Sunnmøre. The feeling of total peace of mind in a luxurious setting, combined with the most beautiful view of the fjords and mountains, close to the wild Stadthavet, is almost too much to take in during a short stay. We lack for nothing when we take the trip to TunheimsFjørå! Stylish rooms, en suite bathroom, morning robes, slippers, beautifully decorated rooms, - huge terrace, with a Jacuzzi and the most beautiful view, - the living room with that «infinity feeling», floating above the sea, where you can watch the birds fly by, the eagle flying over the green sea, - the boat ready to use, with lobster traps and fishing equipment, kayaks, sup-board and everything you might desire of possibilities and facilities. The surrounding area is incredibly beautiful. We got to experience Vestkapp mountain, Ervik beach, Hoddevik, Refviksanden beach and Hakallegarden on our unforgettable day trips! Staying at TunheimsFjørå Lodge, offered such a wonderful chance to experience what the Fjords of Norway had to offer. The lodges were beautifully decorated with themes that held a special place in the owners heart. I had the pleasure of staying in Casa Argentina which tastefully depicted the western theme of cowboys in Argentina. Each lodge has lots of windows to take in the views from all sides and is equipped with a sauna, and a hot tube to warm up on those cold days/ nights. A few of the excursions that I got to experience were hiking and a venture out to sea on the speed boat. The hike was up one of the large mountains behind the lodges up to the top and had a traditional BBQ while viewing the breathtaking sights. While the speed boat went out of the Fjord and more into open windy waters, wearing a nice windbreaker suit allowed for warmth during the voyage. This trip was one of the most stellar I have ever been on and I would highly recommend it to everyone interested in exploring Norway!

We stayed in The Fisherman for four days filled with water skiing, crab fishing, SUP paddling, fishing and relaxing Jacuzzi baths in beautiful weather! A truly amazing place that gives you a delightful combination of luxury and nature. We managed to catch 30 crabs with 3 lobster traps and had a feast, nothing gets better than that. I was having a glass in the Jacuzzi on the terrace when an eagle flew over my head, a unique and «exotic» experience. Upon arrival we were met by Edel, a truly pleasant and helpful hostess who took great care of us during our stay.

“TunheimsFjørå Lodge is a place out of the ordinary!”
This is a place out of the ordinary! We stayed in the Casa Argentina for two nights and didn't want to leave again. The whole lodge was filled with so many little details like different lights and objects which create an Argentinean flair. But you can also relax in the sauna, or in the jacuzzi outside and enjoy the view on the fjord. You can sit there for hours just looking at the fjord and watching different seabirds flying by. There is everything you need from towels and bathrobe to a well equipped kitchen. And the hostess Edel was really helpful and gave us a lot of tips for exploring the area. (A beautiful sunset spot is just a 15min drive from the lodges.) All in all I can highly recommend a stay in one of the three lodges! Especially if you like to feel close to nature and relax. Thank you Edel for two amazing days!
